ROCHESTER, N.Y. (June 8, 2016) – Pamela S.C. Reynolds, an associate in the Rochester, New York, office of Littler, the world’s largest employment and labor law practice representing management, has been appointed as the 34th president of the Greater Rochester Association for Women Attorneys (GRAWA).
“GRAWA is a revered organization in the Rochester legal community, and its presidents represent some of the highest caliber attorneys of the Greater Rochester area. It is an esteemed privilege to follow in their footsteps,” said Reynolds. “I look forward to furthering GRAWA’s mission of promoting women’s advancement and the fair and equal administration of justice, and acting as a united voice for members in statewide, national and international affairs significant to women and society.”
A chapter of the Women’s Bar Association of the State of New York (WBASNY), GRAWA formed in 1983 to advance the status of women in society and the legal profession. It raises funds and provides speakers to women’s and children’s organizations, lobbies for changes in law and policy, mentors new lawyers and vets judicial candidates.
In addition to her involvement with GRAWA and WBASNY, Reynolds is also active in the Monroe County Bar Association, serves as a trustee for her church and also chairs its personnel committee. She is also a frequent speaker on various labor and employment law topics.
Representing a range of organizations from national corporations and universities to small businesses, Reynolds’s practice broadly focuses on matters including discrimination and harassment, wage and hour obligations, employee benefits, class actions, and unfair competition and trade secrets. She has successfully litigated on behalf of employers, as well as pro bono clients, in New York state and federal courts.
Reynolds earned her J.D. from the University of Richmond School of Law and her B.A. from the University of North Carolina Wilmington.
