Over the last two years, we have witnessed a number of global social movements, particularly throughout the APAC region, that have impacted the workplace. Job candidates, employees and even clients are now demanding more of organizations, including inclusive and supportive workplace environments for women and minorities. As a result, many companies are starting to innovate when it comes to employee benefits, policies and recruitment practices to attract and retain a more diverse workforce. The reality is that having a diversity and inclusion strategy is becoming a business necessity, rather than a "nice to have", as companies scramble to tackle complex issues in accordance with this rapidly changing area of law.
