Internal Resources to Improve Efficiency

Behind the scenes, KM provides tools to make our attorneys more efficient. For example, the Littler Release Agreement Builder provides not only a state-of-the-art release template, but also gives our attorneys a collection of guideposts that other colleagues have considered when drafting release agreements. Similarly, we use document automation, template libraries and expert systems in a wide range of practice areas, including, among others, arbitration, labor relations, wage and hour and workplace safety. For example, ComplianceHR PolicySmart provides continuous access to up-to-date handbook templates for all 50 states, as well as summaries of handbook-related legal developments, redlined policy updates, a calendar tracking upcoming effective dates for laws potentially impacting employee-facing policies, and a bi-monthly newsletter notifying attorneys of the month’s handbook-related developments and effective dates. These resources make Littler’s legal practice more efficient by gathering our best insights, jump starting research and presenting the material in a customized fashion to provide our professionals with the information they need when they need it.
