Worst Case Scenarios - How to Deal With the Most Difficult Workplace Situations

This will be a lively discussion on how to deal with some of the most difficult workplace scenarios. You will learn how to respond to challenging situations that arise under the FMLA, the ADA, and other state and federal statutes. Topics to be addressed include:

  • Responding to employees who threaten suicide
  • Addressing threats of workplace violence
  • Dealing with employees who request indefinite leaves of absence
  • Actions to take when a key employee leaves to go to a competitor
  • Identifying hidden liabilities buried within your employment policies and practices
