On July 13, 2017, Brazil passed a new law, Law 13.467 of July 13, 2017, which takes effect on November 11, 2017, changing more than 100 provisions of the existing labor code (CLT). The changes are significant not just in volume, but also in relevance. The new law introduces new flexible work arrangements, such as telework and intermittent work, allows better management of overtime, sets new parameters for the labor courts, introduces arbitration and private settlement options, creates a new employee representation committee, and gives employers more security when negotiating collective agreements over several topics.
Littler Global presents a series of five live webinars to discuss these new changes and how they can significantly improve human resource and cost management.
