The Retail Roundtable is an interactive forum designed for you and your industry colleagues to share how your businesses are handling certain legal challenges. Participants will explore challenges they have faced, sharing ideas and strategies that have proven successful. Topics to be addressed:

  • NYS predictive scheduling regulations and NYC Fair Workweek Law
  • NY Paid Family Leave Law
  • Legal challenges of disparate parental leave polices
  • Termination of employees for extreme and racist off duty political activities or demonstrations (e.g. Charlottesville)
  • Political discussion at work/on social media by or among employees
  • New trends/developments at EEOC or state agencies
  • Change at the local level of the EEOC and NLRB since the new administration took over
  • How to handle DACA employees
