Terri Solomon and in-house counsel from some of the nation's top retailers present a highly engaging, practical roundtable discussion. This retail roundtable is an interactive forum designed for you and your industry colleagues to share how your businesses are handling certain legal challenges.

Participants will explore issues they have faced, sharing ideas and strategies that have proven successful. Topics to be discussed include:

  • How are retailers handling year two of New York's mandatory sex harassment training?
  • Are retailers modifying mandatory arbitration in light of post #MeToo developments?
  • Experience with transitioning employees
  • Predictable scheduling best practices
  • Increase in Department of Consumer Affairs paid safe/sick leave investigations
  • How do retailers distribute handbooks when employees do not have access to company email/intranet?
  • Uptick in cases alleging that New York sales associates and stockroom employees are "manual workers" and must be paid weekly
