This Retail Roundtable is an interactive forum designed for you and your industry colleagues to share how your businesses are handling certain legal challenges. Participants will explore issues they have faced, sharing ideas and strategies that have proven successful. Topics to be addressed:

  • How companies are managing compliance with NYC Fair Work Week Law and NYS Predictive Scheduling Rules
  • How companies are managing compliance with NY Paid Family Leave Law
  • NYC increased enforcement of the Fair Chance Act
  • Sexual harassment and the #MeToo movement
  • How companies balance the desire to keep personnel information confidential against the need to show those who complain about discrimination or harassment that the company investigated and took action
  • Artificial Intelligence/Robotics
  • How companies handle employee crimes that happen outside the workplace
