We all see the headlines, but what do recent FMLA and ADA cases teach us about staying compliant when managing leaves of absence? Our speakers will break down the most significant ADA and FMLA cases and regulatory developments from 2014 and the first half of 2015. Highlights will include a discussion of the EEOC's new Enforcement Guidance on Pregnancy Discrimination and a discussion of the Sixth Circuit’s ADA leave of absence decision that flies in the face of the EEOC's teachings.

This breakfast briefing will offer timely, practical guidelines for ADA and FMLA compliance related to employee leaves of absence and requests for accommodation. Presenters will discuss how the most recent court and agency pronouncements directly affect organizations, and steps to avoid becoming the next headline and losing litigant.
