  • 8:00 AM - 10:30 AM CDT

Metropolitan Square Conference Center

The change in administrations at the state and federal levels is bringing massive reforms to all aspects of labor and employment laws and regulations. In Missouri, right to work and prevailing wage legislation have been at the forefront, but significant changes to the Missouri Human Rights Act are being proposed as well. The Missouri legislature is also developing legislation to overturn court decisions, which allowed local government entities to set higher minimum wage rates and eviscerated employment arbitration agreements. At the federal level, many executive orders and regulations pertaining to labor and employment law promulgated during the Obama administration have been withdrawn by executive order or halted by court decisions. Paid leave is on the horizon on the federal, state, and local levels.

Topics to be discussed include:

  • Changes that have occurred or are being considered in federal and state of Missouri labor and employment laws
  • How these changes will affect companies
  • What employers should do to implement these changes
