In this article, Garry Mathiason of Littler's San Francisco office advises small business owners on how to deal with managers who harass other employees of the business. "If the 'harassment' is severe or pervasive and based on a protected category it could be unlawful. Examples would be sexual harassment, racial harassment, or harassment over age," Mathiason said.
