René Louis Macioce focuses his practice on labor and employment matters. Prior to joining Littler, René was an Assistant Corporation Counsel in the Labor and Employment Law Division of the New York City Law Department. In the Labor and Employment division, he was lead counsel in a variety of state and federal actions involving claims of discrimination, retaliation, hostile work environment, and wage and hour violations. René handled all aspects of litigation, including drafting answers, responding to discovery demands, drafting dispositive motions, taking and defending depositions, and representing clients in settlement conferences and mediations. During his tenure at the Law Department, René successfully tried a jury trial in New York Supreme Court, New York County from jury selection to defense verdict as co-counsel.

During law school, René interned in the chambers of the Hon. Ona T. Wang, Magistrate Judge in the U.S. District Court, Southern District of New York and was an intern with Region 29 of the National Labor Relations Board.
