James Y. Lee represents and counsels employers in all aspects of employment and labor law. James’ practice ranges from proactive counseling to litigation. He has a deep knowledge of workplace safety, regularly advising companies on internal policies based on the changing landscape of safety regulation. 

Prior to joining Littler, James served as deputy general counsel for a major transportation company where he led strategy on labor and employment disputes, among other responsibilities. Prior to his inhouse role, he served as lead counsel on behalf of a tractor trailer manufacturer, an industrial cement manufacturer, a cosmetics company, and an energy contractor in their products and mass torts liability cases in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

A loyal and capable advocate, James prides himself on his ability to provide practical solutions to navigate complicated issues.
