Julie McGoldrick is Special Counsel on the Class Action Counsel team, and she is based in California. With a focus on class, collective, mass and representative actions, Julie formulates and executes briefing strategy, including the development of cutting-edge arguments and thought leadership on the most pressing class action and PAGA issues confronting our clients. These substantive briefs and motions include complex dispositive motions, class certification motions, motions to compel arbitration, and other strategic briefing. As one of the firm’s subject matter resources in arbitration, Julie has successfully enforced arbitration agreements all over the country at the trial court and appellate levels.
As the Team Lead for the Class Action Brief Writing and Research teams, Julie assists in the hiring and training of new Brief Writing and Research Counsel, as well as the ongoing management and supervision of the Brief Writing and Research teams.
Prior to joining Littler in 2015, Julie taught legal research and writing at Pepperdine School of Law. Before that, she worked for a national law firm for several years, gaining significant experience in labor and employment and other business litigation.
Julie served on the Pepperdine Law Review and the Mock Trial Team. Before law school, Julie worked as a pastry chef in a James Beard Award-winning restaurant.
