Gayle L. Gonda represents employers in all areas of labor and employment law, with a focus on wage and hour, discrimination, harassment and termination issues. She also provides counseling on:

  • Wage and hour compliance
  • Leaves of absence
  • Reasonable accommodation

She regularly appears before California state and federal courts and before the Department of Labor Standards Enforcement. She has extensive knowledge of:

  • Title VII
  • The Americans with Disabilities Act
  • The Family and Medical Leave Act
  • The California Fair Employment and Housing Act
  • The California Family Rights Act
  • California and federal wage and hour laws
  • Prevailing wage laws
  • Immigration laws

Prior to joining Littler Mendelson in 2005, Gayle served as a judicial extern for United States Magistrate Judge Suzanne H. Segal, Central District of California. She also worked as a paralegal for a global Internet-based company, where she assisted general counsel with various employment matters, including employee policies, employment contracts, and disputes and settlements involving trade secrets, sexual harassment and wrongful termination.

While in law school, Gayle was a teaching fellow and provided legal research and writing instruction for first year law students.
