DENVER (January 31, 2025) – Littler, the world’s largest employment and labor law practice representing management, has added Susan Klopman as special counsel in its Denver office. Klopman joins from H&K Law, LLC, a boutique litigation and employment law firm, where she was a founding partner.
“With nearly 25 years of experience in litigation and labor law, coupled with over a decade of successfully managing her own practice, Susan is a tremendous addition to our thriving Denver office,” said David C. Her comprehensive knowledge of employment law, counseling capabilities and insider perspective on business management will be invaluable to our clients.”
Klopman provides strategic advice and representation to employers in state and federal courts and before administrative agencies in all facets of employment law. She counsels businesses on compliance with wage and hour laws, the Fair Labor Standards Act, and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), including Title III of the ADA, and represents them in private and class action lawsuits. Klopman also has extensive experience in traditional labor law, handling management trainings, union negotiations and National Labor Relations Board charges. As an accomplished litigator, Klopman has tried numerous cases in federal and state courts in Colorado, as well as before arbitrators.
In addition to litigation, she assists clients with drafting employment and confidentiality agreements, creating handbooks, and providing advice on various employment-related topics. These include wage acts, disability and leave laws, discrimination and retaliation, trade secret protection, ERISA claims, and best practices for discipline and performance management. Klopman earned her J.D. from the University of Denver, Sturm College of Law, her B.A., magna cum laude, from Mount Holyoke College and an English Literature certificate from Somerville College, Oxford University.
