Christian (Chris) Nisttahuz represents employers in all areas of labor and employment law. Chris practices in state and federal courts, in arbitration disputes, and before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Her representative experience includes defending clients on discrimination, harassment, and retaliation claims brought under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), and the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA). Chris has also represented clients in unfair competition disputes.
Prior to joining Littler, Chris advised clients on a broad range of labor and employment issues, including union-related matters, worker misclassification, wage and hour compliance, the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) Act (and analogous state laws), internal investigations, and other labor and employment compliance issues.
During law school, Chris served as an intern for Justice Jeff Brown at the Supreme Court of Texas. She was also a student attorney in her law school’s Innocence Clinic.
